John has a long-time record of teaching fly tying on all levels. We are fortunate to have him teaching fly tying at the shop and sharing his depth of experience in presenting the flies he will offer in his class. Class content includes techniques for spring creek flies and flaring and spinning operations with hollow hair. Learn to Tie Steelhead Flies

Ken, one of the most experienced steelheaders in the region, is also a renowned fly tier. He specializes in steelhead flies for the Salmon and Clearwater rivers. Ken will address tying the different pattern types (low water, shrimp, skaters) and how to present them.
